The Pantry is here so hungry families can get food in emergency situations. As with any large-scale operation, there must be rules in place to avoid abuse. We have established the following guidelines:

  1. Assistance is available once per month for each family
  2. The family must declare their income (including food stamps, WIC income, and HUD housing support) and only those with incomes that are in line with the Texas Commodity Assistance Program will be eligible, except in emergency situations. A copy of the Texas Commodity Assistance Program is in each interview room
  3. A picture ID from the head of each household (each family receiving food) is required for identification purposes
  4. The Brazos Church Pantry only provides food for those living in Brazos County. You must provide a document showing your home address. This document can be a copy of utility bill or lease of apartment or home

You will find our hours of operation on the right. Please come in if needed so we can help you.
